Anybody's VMware player/workstation which refuses to play audio despite tools installed can now use this as an alternative! The community for beta and abandonware collectors. Use DOS mode if you're running Windows 95/98/Me or use a DOS boot disk if you run Windows 2000/XP and have a FAT16 or FAT32 partition (newer NTFS partitions used on Windows 2000/XP are not compatible with DOS). Use roaming profiles and cleanup your profiles at logoff. Will upgrade soon to VMware 15 or 16 and Windand see if the VM gives me audio issues.
